The Lady Red tennis season came to an end at the 4A regional tournament in Topeka. The competition was top notch and the players a very tough day a tennis. Olivia Wabski was our only singles player entered in the tournament lost to Hope Seaton from Bonner Springs, 2-6,1-6. The doubles team of Brianna dove and Reece Dulac lost their match to Mady Carr and Katherine Guerrera from Topeka Hayden, 0-6, 2-6. Kathy Tull and Alyxus Thomas lost their match to Natalie Harris and Kati Fehlman from Chapman, 0-6, 0-6. It was an abrupt end to the season for our players who were fairly successful all year. We gained some experience and made some great strides from the beginning of the year and improved our play as the year progress. We just picked a bad day not to be at our best on the courts. We are looking forward to next year with all the young players and continue to improve.
