Kasten-Regan Memorial scholarship
The Scholarship is for attending a 2 or 4 year college or Technical School.
The recipient must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher, worked a job during HS and indicates a financial need.

Atchison Leader’s Scholarship
The Atchison Leaders’ Scholarship is a privately funded scholarship designed to award deserving students the opportunity to attend Benedictine College for a full four years. The scholarship is designed to fully fund the direct cost of attending Benedictine College. This is accomplished through a three-part effort by the Atchison Community Educational Foundation, Benedictine College, and the student.

KACRAO Scholarships
The 2020 KACRAO Scholarship information is now available for applicants at https://www.kacrao.org/kacrao-scholarship
Four $500 awards are available, which may be used at KACRAO member institutions (one per school type: four-year public, four-year private, community college, and technical college). The awards are not need-based and may be used in conjunction with other awards.
To be eligible for consideration for these scholarships, students must:
• Be in their senior year at a Kansas high school;
• Have a cumulative seventh semester GPA of at least 3.25 on a 4.0 scale;
• Submit an application, which includes uploading a one-page essay, letter of reference, and resume.
The deadline to apply for the scholarship is March 15, 2020. Successful award recipients will be notified in May and posted on the KACRAO website.
Marine Corp Scholarships
The Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation provides scholarships to the children of Marines and Navy Corpsmen attending post–high school, undergraduate, and career technical education programs. Deadline is March 3.
Lang Diesel Scholarship
Will pay for tuition and books for a person looking to go into the diesel mechanics field. For more information go to : Lang Diesel Scholarship.
Anderson Orthodontics Scholarship
Information: Two scholarships, one of $500 and one of $300 will be awarded to two high school students in the Leavenworth and surrounding areas. Eligibility: Must be a patient (current or former) of Anderson Orthodontics or Dr. Michael Albright Orthodontics. Must be a graduating high school senior. Deadline is March 31. PhDistraction Scholarship
PhDistraction Candles were created by Assistant Professor Katie Rieger as a tongue-in-cheek reference to her graduate studies. Rieger initially created PhDistraction Candles to connect a hobby with a cause. Initially, all the proceeds went to support a food bank at Oklahoma State University. Since moving to Atchison, Rieger wanted to slightly change the focus to supporting young women in Atchison who are pursuing professional development opportunities. These opportunities could include attending a conference, purchasing interview materials, paying for college/testing fees, conducting research, traveling for an internship, etc.
Deadline is March 6, pick up application form from Mrs. Shugart.
McCoy/Porter Scholarship
1. Applicant must be a graduating high school senior.
2. Applicant must be the primary member of Frontier Community Credit Union (Having a primary savings account in their name). Employees, officers, directors, volunteers or immediate family members and household members of such individuals are not eligible to participate. Immediate family members include, mother/father (or in-law), brother/sister (or in-law), son/daughter (or in-law), stepchild or stepparent, grandparent or grandchild. Deadline is February 28. See Mrs. Shugart for the application form.
